Matt Update

Hello everybody. Here's what I've done the past 2 days.

  • Merged my code into current build.
  • Fixed AI movement bug (not really a bug, more of a screw up by me).
  • Created navmeshs and spawnspheres for the new level.
  • Added new function skeleton spawning.
Next I'll be looking at adding triggers for spawning, tweeking spawn code and spells.

  1. Need to get a hold of the latest build; is the base-AFX in.. the hotbar linked to the player's spellbook? So we can just test to see that our players can actually cast spells.

    If that's in, i'll add in my GUI / statistics; and start making a few base spells for Ares.

  2. (plus) I suppose I need to do something with Torque A* Code for C++ Assignment 2. Perhaps the Scythe demon's fight & area.

  3. Oh yeah, you do need to do something with A* in TorqueScript don't you. Hmm, well I better let Matt know not to do anything for the ScytheDemon, beyond spawning him in and using the skeleton AI stuff.
    About the spellbook I'm not really sure but I seem to remember that it doesn't take much to link that up, so I guess I'll set that up today.

  4. Okay, Ares is pretty much textured and rigged. Should be able to finish that by today.
